Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Scrub the potatoes clean and slice them into uniform 1/4-inch rounds.
- Place slices in a bowl of cold water for 2 minutes, drain, and pat them completely dry using paper towels until no moisture remains on the surface.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the dried slices with avocado oil, fine sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until thinly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the slices in the basket, ensuring they do not fill more than halfway to allow proper air circulation.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are mahogany-colored and the centers are tender.
