  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crisp crust.
  2. In a resealable bag, combine soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, and toasted sesame oil.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the bag, massage the marinade into the fish, and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Lightly grease parchment paper with neutral oil and place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 7–9 minutes until the edges are deep mahogany brown and the skin is crisp.
  7. Remove the salmon with tongs and let rest for 3 minutes.
  8. Brush any remaining marinade from the bag over the top of the fillets before serving.
