Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crisp crust.
- In a resealable bag, combine soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic, and toasted sesame oil.
- Place the salmon fillets in the bag, massage the marinade into the fish, and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease parchment paper with neutral oil and place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 7–9 minutes until the edges are deep mahogany brown and the skin is crisp.
- Remove the salmon with tongs and let rest for 3 minutes.
- Brush any remaining marinade from the bag over the top of the fillets before serving.
