Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs / 700g), peeled and cut into ½-inch (1.25 cm) thick fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5 ml)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 ml)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (2.5 ml)
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of kick) (1.25 ml)
- ½ teaspoon sea salt (2.5 ml)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25 ml)
Instructions:
- Wash, peel (if desired), and cut the sweet potatoes into even fries, about ½-inch thick.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through, until tender and crispy.
- Remove the air fryer sweet potato fries from the air fryer and serve immediately.
