Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls (340g)
  • 1/2 pound (225g) sliced deli ham
  • 1/4 pound (113g) sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) dried onion flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the top and bottom buns connected.
  3. Spread a thin layer of sliced cheese evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Layer the sliced ham over the cheese.
  5. Layer another thin layer of cheese evenly over the ham.
  6. Carefully place the top half of the rolls back on the ham and cheese.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, poppy seeds, and dried onion flakes.
  8. Evenly pour the butter mixture over the top of the rolls.
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
