Ingredients:
- 2 Large Apples (approx. 400g), such as Honeycrisp or Fuji
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Core and slice 2 Large Apples (400g) into 1/4 inch thick wedges. Note: Keeping slices uniform ensures even cooking.
- Place 1 tsp Coconut Oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Wait for the oil to shimmer.
- Add the apple slices to the pan in a single layer. Hear the gentle sizzle.
- Drizzle 1 tsp Maple Syrup over the fruit and add a pinch of Sea Salt. Note: The salt helps release the apple's natural juices.
- Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, tossing occasionally with a spatula. Watch for the edges to turn translucent.
- Pierce a slice with a fork; it should go in easily but the slice should hold its shape.
- Remove from heat immediately to prevent overcooking. Notice the glossy, golden glaze.
