Ingredients:

  • 4 medium apples, cored and chopped (about 4 cups or 600 g)
  • 2 medium pears, cored and chopped (about 2 cups or 300 g)
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (about 100 g)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (15 ml)
  • 1 cup water (240 ml)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste (15-30 ml)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the apples, pears, and cranberries thoroughly. Core and chop apples and pears into smaller pieces.
  2. If using a juicer, feed the apple, pear, and cranberry pieces into the juicer, collecting the juice in a pitcher.
  3. If using a blender, combine chopped fruits, cranberries, lemon juice, and water in the blender. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to separate the juice from the pulp. Press or squeeze to extract as much juice as possible.
  5. Taste the juice and stir in honey or maple syrup if desired.
  6. Pour the juice into glasses and enjoy immediately or chill for later.
