  • 3-5 tablespoons cold water (45-75 ml)
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 450 g)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed (50 g)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (5 g)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg (1 g)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (60 g)
