Ingredients:
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease the madeleine pan lightly with butter or cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a rubber spatula until just combined.
- Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each madeleine mold about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the tops spring back when lightly touched.
- Let the madeleines cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
