Ingredients:
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced cooked ham or cooked sausage
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Sauté the diced onions and bell peppers in a skillet over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Optionally, add the cooked ham or sausage to the skillet until heated through.
- Add the sautéed mixture to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the center is set and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.
