- 2 tsp Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 tsp Dried rubbed sage

- 1 tsp Dried rosemary (crushed)
- 1 tsp Dark brown sugar
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary and sage (finely minced)
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
Instructions:
- In a small glass mixing bowl, combine the Kosher salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, dried sage, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dark brown sugar.
- Use a whisk or fork to break up any clumps of brown sugar or onion powder until the mixture is uniform in color with evenly distributed herbs.
- In a separate container, integrate the softened unsalted butter with the minced fresh rosemary, sage, and lemon zest to create the wet rub phase.
- Pat the turkey completely dry with paper towels before applying the seasoning to ensure a crisp skin.
