Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small whisking bowl, combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar has mostly dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Brush a generous layer of the glaze over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes, watching closely until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany brown.
