Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- In a small whisking bowl, combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar has mostly dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Brush a generous layer of the glaze over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes, watching closely until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany brown.
