Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Reposado Tequila (100% Agave)
  • 1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 0.5 oz Agave nectar
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau or high-quality Triple Sec
  • 0.5 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1 tbsp Coarse sea salt
  • 1 Lime wedge
  • 1 Dehydrated lime wheel

Instructions:

  1. Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of a chilled rocks glass. Roll the outer edge in coarse salt, ensuring the salt stays on the outside of the glass.
  2. Combine the reposado tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and Cointreau in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker is frost-matted and the mixture is well-chilled.
  4. Fill the salted rocks glass with fresh, large ice cubes.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass. Use a fine mesh strainer for a double strain if desired.
  6. Hold a bar spoon upside down just above the drink's surface and slowly pour the Grand Marnier over the back of the spoon to create the 'Cadillac' float.
  7. Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel or fresh lime slice and serve immediately.
