Ingredients:
- 2 oz Reposado Tequila (100% Agave)
- 1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 0.5 oz Agave nectar
- 0.5 oz Cointreau or high-quality Triple Sec
- 0.5 oz Grand Marnier
- 1 tbsp Coarse sea salt
- 1 Lime wedge
- 1 Dehydrated lime wheel
Instructions:
- Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of a chilled rocks glass. Roll the outer edge in coarse salt, ensuring the salt stays on the outside of the glass.
- Combine the reposado tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and Cointreau in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker is frost-matted and the mixture is well-chilled.
- Fill the salted rocks glass with fresh, large ice cubes.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass. Use a fine mesh strainer for a double strain if desired.
- Hold a bar spoon upside down just above the drink's surface and slowly pour the Grand Marnier over the back of the spoon to create the 'Cadillac' float.
- Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel or fresh lime slice and serve immediately.
