Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brewed coffee (about 475 mL, preferably strong and cooled)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (30 g, adjust based on preference)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 mL)
  • ½ cup milk (120 mL, any type: whole, skim, or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons coffee creamer (30 mL, optional for extra creaminess)
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional, for serving)
  • Cocoa powder or cinnamon (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  2. Stir in sugar and vanilla extract until fully dissolved.
  3. Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the cooled coffee mixture over the ice, filling the glasses to about ¾ full.
  5. In a separate container, combine milk and coffee creamer, whisking to combine (optional).
  6. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the coffee for a layered effect.
  7. Optional: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder or cinnamon.
