Ingredients:
- 4 slices of thick-cut bread (such as brioche or sourdough)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28g), softened
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon (14g)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50g)
- 1/2 cup raisins (75g)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Lightly toast the slices of bread until golden, but not too crispy.
- Remove from the toaster and generously spread softened butter on each slice.
- Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered slices.
- Scatter raisins atop the cinnamon-sugar sweetened bread.
- Return to the toaster or place in a frying pan on medium heat until the bread is warm and the sugar slightly melts, about 2-3 minutes.
- Slice in half if desired, and enjoy warm!
