Ingredients:

  • 6 oz hot brewed coffee
  • 1.5 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Instructions:

  1. Warm your glass mug by filling it with hot water for 60 seconds, then discard the water.
  2. Add the brown sugar to the bottom of the warm mug. Pour in the hot coffee and stir vigorously until the sugar crystals have completely vanished. Stir in the Irish whiskey, swirling the liquid to combine.
  3. Pour the chilled heavy cream into a small bowl or glass. Use a handheld frother or whisk for about 30 seconds until soft peaks form and the cream is thickened but still pourable.
  4. Gently pour the cream over the back of a spoon onto the surface of the coffee to create a distinct layer.
