Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for brightness)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli florets. Cut large florets into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup (optional). Spread the seasoned broccoli evenly on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are crispy and slightly charred, tossing halfway through.
  6. Remove broccoli from the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and drizzle with sesame oil. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
