Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for brightness)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli florets. Cut large florets into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup (optional). Spread the seasoned broccoli evenly on the baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are crispy and slightly charred, tossing halfway through.
- Remove broccoli from the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and drizzle with sesame oil. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
