Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed
- 6 oz thick-cut bacon, diced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the trimmed green beans in a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading them in a single layer, and scatter the diced raw bacon evenly over the top.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until the sugar is mostly dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the glaze evenly over the beans and bacon, tossing gently with tongs to ensure every bean is thoroughly coated.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and thickened, and the bacon is crisp and mahogany-colored.
