Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the asparagus under cold water and pat dry. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus.
  2. Place asparagus in a mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add seasoned asparagus to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Carefully transfer the asparagus to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon zest if desired.
