Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions:
- Rinse the asparagus under cold water and pat dry. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus.
- Place asparagus in a mixing bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add seasoned asparagus to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Carefully transfer the asparagus to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon zest if desired.
