Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) agave syrup or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together agave syrup (or maple syrup), water, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring gently until the mixture is well combined.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until it reduces slightly and thickens (it should coat the back of a spoon).
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Pour into a sterilized jar and let it cool completely before sealing.
