Ingredients:

  • 8 oz goat cheese log
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, sliced into slivers
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves removed
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 0.25 tsp flaky sea salt
  • 0.125 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Place cheese log in the center of your baking dish.
  3. Whisk oil, chopped rosemary, thyme leaves, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and honey in a small bowl.
  4. Add garlic slivers to the oil mixture and stir to coat.
  5. Pour mixture over the goat cheese log.
  6. Bake 12 minutes until the oil is bubbly and garlic is golden.
  7. Remove dish from the oven carefully.
  8. Scatter zest and flaky sea salt over the top while it's still hot.
  9. Rest 2 minutes to let the flavors meld before serving.
  10. Serve warm with toasted baguette or crackers.
