Ingredients:
- 8 oz goat cheese log
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, sliced into slivers
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary, chopped
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves removed
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp honey
- 0.25 tsp flaky sea salt
- 0.125 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Place cheese log in the center of your baking dish.
- Whisk oil, chopped rosemary, thyme leaves, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and honey in a small bowl.
- Add garlic slivers to the oil mixture and stir to coat.
- Pour mixture over the goat cheese log.
- Bake 12 minutes until the oil is bubbly and garlic is golden.
- Remove dish from the oven carefully.
- Scatter zest and flaky sea salt over the top while it's still hot.
- Rest 2 minutes to let the flavors meld before serving.
- Serve warm with toasted baguette or crackers.
