Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano, minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Mince the garlic as finely as possible until it almost forms a paste. Finely chop the parsley, basil, and oregano to ensure even distribution.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking vigorously until the mixture becomes thickened and opaque. Alternatively, combine all base ingredients in a glass jar and shake violently for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and the chopped fresh herbs. Let the dressing sit for 5 minutes at room temperature to allow the garlic to infuse the oil.
