Ingredients:
- 2 cups (60 g) fresh spinach
- 1 medium cucumber, peeled and chopped (about 300 g)
- 1 medium apple, cored and chopped (about 180 g)
- 1 ripe banana (about 120 g)
- ½ avocado (about 75 g)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (15 ml)
- 2 cups (480 ml) coconut water or cold water
- A handful of fresh mint leaves (about 5-10 leaves)
- Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (15 ml)
Instructions:
- Wash all the greens and chop the cucumber, apple, banana, and avocado.
- Place spinach, cucumber, apple, banana, and avocado into the blender.
- Pour in coconut water (or cold water) and add lemon juice.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
- Taste the smoothie; if desired, add honey or agave syrup and blend again.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with mint leaves. Serve immediately!
