Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs or digestive biscuit crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (not natural)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or crushed peanuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie pan. Chill for 15 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract to stiff peaks. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until combined.
- Spoon the peanut butter filling into the chilled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Spread whipped topping over the set pie (if using). Garnish with chocolate shavings or crushed peanuts before slicing and serving.
