Ingredients:

  • 1 cup neutral mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine the mayonnaise and melted butter in a medium mixing bowl. Note: Ensure butter is melted but not hot.
  2. Whisk vigorously until the butter is fully incorporated and the mixture looks glossy.
  3. Add the tomato paste to the center of the bowl.
  4. Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, and granulated sugar.
  5. Slowly pour in the white vinegar while continuing to whisk.
  6. Mix until the sauce is a uniform, velvety pink and no clumps remain.
  7. Taste and add the 1/4 tsp salt.
  8. Transfer the sauce to an airtight glass jar.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until chilled and the flavors have melded.
