Ingredients:
- 1 cup neutral mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Combine the mayonnaise and melted butter in a medium mixing bowl. Note: Ensure butter is melted but not hot.
- Whisk vigorously until the butter is fully incorporated and the mixture looks glossy.
- Add the tomato paste to the center of the bowl.
- Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, and granulated sugar.
- Slowly pour in the white vinegar while continuing to whisk.
- Mix until the sauce is a uniform, velvety pink and no clumps remain.
- Taste and add the 1/4 tsp salt.
- Transfer the sauce to an airtight glass jar.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until chilled and the flavors have melded.
