Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, approx. 6 oz (170g) each
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel. Rub each fillet with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, leaving a small gap between each piece for air flow. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  3. While the salmon is searing, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  4. Open the air fryer basket and generously brush the top of each fillet with the honey glaze. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and deep mahogany in color.
  5. Remove the salmon carefully and let it rest for 2-3 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
