Ingredients:
- 3 lbs chicken wings, party style
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with kosher salt, cracked black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated, then transfer to the slow cooker.
- Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Pour the honey glaze mixture over the wings in the slow cooker, stirring gently to ensure every piece is submerged.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
- Preheat the oven broiler to high and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Carefully move the cooked wings to the baking sheet in a single layer, brushing them generously with the remaining glaze from the slow cooker.
- Broil for 3–5 minutes, watching closely, until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany brown.
