Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs chicken wings, party style
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with kosher salt, cracked black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated, then transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  3. Pour the honey glaze mixture over the wings in the slow cooker, stirring gently to ensure every piece is submerged.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven broiler to high and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  6. Carefully move the cooked wings to the baking sheet in a single layer, brushing them generously with the remaining glaze from the slow cooker.
  7. Broil for 3–5 minutes, watching closely, until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany brown.
