Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking sheet with foil and place the wire rack on top.
- Pat the drumsticks completely dry with paper towels. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Arrange the chicken on the rack and bake for 30 minutes until the skin is light golden brown and firm.
- While the chicken bakes, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, vinegar, and ginger in a bowl until smooth.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and generously coat each drumstick with the honey garlic glaze using a pastry brush.
- Return the chicken to the oven for another 10–15 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and brush on the remaining glaze for a sticky finish.
- Switch the oven to Broil for 2–3 minutes until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany color.
