Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a spatula to fold them together until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Stir in the lemon juice and garlic powder until fully integrated.
- Gently fold in the blue cheese crumbles and black pepper. Stir just until the cheese is evenly distributed, leaving some distinct pockets of blue cheese for texture.
- Transfer the mixture into an 8-inch oven-safe skillet and smooth the top. Place the skillet under a broiler for 3-5 minutes, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until the edges bubble and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove the skillet from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the crumbled bacon and chopped chives over the surface and serve while molten.
