Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a spatula to fold them together until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Stir in the lemon juice and garlic powder until fully integrated.
  2. Gently fold in the blue cheese crumbles and black pepper. Stir just until the cheese is evenly distributed, leaving some distinct pockets of blue cheese for texture.
  3. Transfer the mixture into an 8-inch oven-safe skillet and smooth the top. Place the skillet under a broiler for 3-5 minutes, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until the edges bubble and the top is lightly golden.
  4. Remove the skillet from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the crumbled bacon and chopped chives over the surface and serve while molten.
