Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon (10g) matcha green tea powder
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) hot water (not boiling, about 175°F or 80°C)
- 1 cup (240ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1-2 tablespoons (15-30ml) sweetener (honey, agave syrup, or simple syrup)
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- In a heatproof bowl, sift matcha powder to eliminate lumps. Pour in hot water and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
- Add the desired sweetener to the matcha mixture and stir to combine.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour in milk over the ice.
- Gently pour the matcha mixture over the milk, stir to create a marbled effect.
- Enjoy immediately with a straw or spoon!
