Ingredients:

  • 2 oz strong espresso or highly concentrated cold brew
  • 1 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup large ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp 2% milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup

Instructions:

  1. Extract the espresso or brew the coffee concentrate. While the coffee is still steaming, stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup to ensure it fully dissolves and emulsifies.
  2. Fill a 16 oz tall glass to the brim with large ice cubes and pour the vanilla-infused coffee over the ice.
  3. Pour the whole milk over the coffee. For a marbled effect, pour slowly over the back of a spoon, or stir vigorously for 10 seconds for a fully integrated drink.
  4. Optional: Combine heavy cream, 2% milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup in a small pitcher. Use a handheld frother for 30 seconds until thick and pillowy, then gently pour over the top of the latte.
