  • 3 oz jalapeño-infused tequila (90ml)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice (30ml)
  • ½ oz orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec) (15ml)
  • 1 oz simple syrup (30ml) - optional for sweetness
  • Fresh lime wedges and jalapeño slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Place the sliced jalapeño in a glass jar.
  2. Pour the tequila over the jalapeño slices, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  3. Seal the jar and let it infuse for 1-2 hours, tasting occasionally for desired spiciness.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine 3 oz of the jalapeño-infused tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, ½ oz of orange liqueur, and 1 oz of simple syrup (if using).
  5. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  6. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice (can be salt-rimmed if desired).
  7. Garnish with lime wedges and jalapeño slices.
