- 1 oz simple syrup (30ml) - optional for sweetness
- Fresh lime wedges and jalapeño slices for garnish
Instructions:
- Place the sliced jalapeño in a glass jar.
- Pour the tequila over the jalapeño slices, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Seal the jar and let it infuse for 1-2 hours, tasting occasionally for desired spiciness.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 3 oz of the jalapeño-infused tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, ½ oz of orange liqueur, and 1 oz of simple syrup (if using).
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice (can be salt-rimmed if desired).
- Garnish with lime wedges and jalapeño slices.
