Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 pound of pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente; reserve ½ cup of cooking water before draining.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Lower the heat; pour in the heavy cream and whisk to combine. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the drained pasta to the sauce. Mix well
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
