Ingredients:

  • 1 package (3 oz / 85 g) flavored gelatin (e.g., strawberry, lime, or mixed berry)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) boiling water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold water
  • 1 cup (150 g) diced fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, or pineapple)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour the flavored gelatin powder.
  2. Add the boiling water and whisk until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in the cold water until combined.
  4. Chop the fresh fruit into small, bite-sized pieces and toss with lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  5. Layer half of the gelatin mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  6. Scatter the diced fruit evenly over this layer and pour the remaining gelatin mixture over the fruit.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until set.
  8. Once set, cut into squares or wedges, serve chilled, and enjoy!
