Ingredients:
- 1 package (3 oz / 85 g) flavored gelatin (e.g., strawberry, lime, or mixed berry)
- 1 cup (240 ml) boiling water
- 1 cup (240 ml) cold water
- 1 cup (150 g) diced fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, or pineapple)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, pour the flavored gelatin powder.
- Add the boiling water and whisk until fully dissolved.
- Stir in the cold water until combined.
- Chop the fresh fruit into small, bite-sized pieces and toss with lemon juice in a separate bowl.
- Layer half of the gelatin mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Scatter the diced fruit evenly over this layer and pour the remaining gelatin mixture over the fruit.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until set.
- Once set, cut into squares or wedges, serve chilled, and enjoy!
