Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed (approx. 1 ½ cups or 360g)
- 1/3 cup (80ml) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease the cake pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter; mix well.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
