Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of cauliflower (about 2 pounds or 900 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (45 mL)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (5 g)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (3 g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (30 g) - optional for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish - optional

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add cauliflower florets to the bowl. Toss until the florets are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning the florets halfway through, until they are golden brown and tender.
  6. If using, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes of baking. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
