Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3g) salt
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) warm milk (110°F/43°C)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (8g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk and beaten egg.
  3. Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Pour in melted butter and knead until smooth for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Melt additional butter in a separate dish.
  8. After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 12-15 pieces.
  9. Dip each piece into melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  10. Arrange the coated dough pieces in a greased bundt pan, layering as you go.
  11. Let the dough rise again for about 10-15 minutes.
  12. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  13. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  14. Allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a cooling rack.
  15. Serve warm, pulling apart pieces as you go!
