Ingredients:
- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5g) instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) warm milk (110°F/43°C)
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon (8g) ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk and beaten egg.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Pour in melted butter and knead until smooth for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Melt additional butter in a separate dish.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 12-15 pieces.
- Dip each piece into melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Arrange the coated dough pieces in a greased bundt pan, layering as you go.
- Let the dough rise again for about 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a cooling rack.
- Serve warm, pulling apart pieces as you go!
