Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries (140 g)
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (Full-Fat Preferred) (120 g)
  • 1/2 cup Liquid (Almond Milk, Oat Milk, or Dairy Milk) (120 ml)
  • 1/2 medium Banana (Frozen, sliced) (Approx. 50 g)
  • 1 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup (Optional) (5 ml)
  • 1/4 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract (1 ml)
  • A tiny pinch Fine Sea Salt (Less than 1 g)

Instructions:

  1. Prep all ingredients: Ensure all ingredients are measured and ready. Slice the banana roughly if needed.
  2. Load the liquid base: Pour the milk/liquid into the blender jug first. Then add the Greek yogurt, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and the pinch of salt.
  3. Add the solids: Add the frozen blueberries and the frozen banana pieces directly on top of the liquid base.
  4. Blend until smooth: Secure the lid tightly. Start blending on a low speed to crush the frozen fruit, then ramp up to high speed until the mixture is completely smooth (typically 45–60 seconds). Scrape down the sides if necessary.
  5. Check and Adjust: Taste the smoothie. To thicken, add 1-2 tablespoons more frozen fruit. To thin, add 1 tablespoon more milk/liquid. Adjust sweetness as desired.
  6. Serve: Pour immediately into a chilled glass.
