Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, approx 6 oz (170g) each
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic, minced fine
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel to ensure the oil and glaze adhere.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
- Brush a light layer of olive oil on the fillets, season with salt and pepper, and then generously coat the tops with the prepared glaze.
- Place fillets on the pan and bake for 10 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and mahogany-colored and the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
