Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, approx 6 oz (170g) each
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced fine

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with a paper towel to ensure the oil and glaze adhere.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  4. Brush a light layer of olive oil on the fillets, season with salt and pepper, and then generously coat the tops with the prepared glaze.
  5. Place fillets on the pan and bake for 10 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and mahogany-colored and the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
