- 1/4 cup (50g) popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) high-smoke-point oil (vegetable, canola, coconut)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons (45g) Melted Butter (optional)
Instructions:
- Add the oil and three popcorn kernels to the pot. Cover with the lid.

- Carefully pour the remaining kernels into the pot, making sure they spread in an even layer. Cover, wait 30 seconds, and place it back on the heat
- Return the pot to medium-high heat. Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
- As the popcorn starts to pop, listen for the popping to slow down to a few seconds between pops. Remove from heat immediately.
- Pour the popcorn into a large bowl. Immediately sprinkle with salt and toss to distribute evenly. Drizzle with melted butter, if desired, and toss again. Serve immediately.
