Ingredients:

  • 2 pkgs (28 oz total) Little Smokies cocktail sausages, drained
  • 1 cup Smoky BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Grape Jelly
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Mustard
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce Base: In the slow cooker insert, combine the BBQ sauce, grape jelly, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, ground mustard, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk thoroughly until the jelly is fully incorporated and the sauce is uniform.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the drained Little Smokies sausages to the sauce mixture. Stir gently with a spoon to ensure every sausage is fully coated.
  3. Slow Cook: Cover the slow cooker and set the temperature to LOW. Cook for 2 to 3 hours, stirring once halfway through. The sauce should be bubbling lightly and slightly reduced, clinging thickly to the sausages.
  4. Hold and Serve: Once cooked, reduce the slow cooker setting to WARM. The sausages can be held safely at this temperature for up to 3 hours.
  5. Garnish: Just before serving, stir gently and transfer the warm sausages and sauce to a serving platter or serve directly from the slow cooker with toothpicks or tongs.
