Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (120 ml) Dark Rum
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Light Rum
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Passion Fruit Juice
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Orange Juice
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Grenadine
  • Orange slice, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Place the hurricane glass in the freezer for a few minutes, or fill it with ice while you prepare the drink.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the dark rum, light rum, passion fruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, and grenadine.
  3. Add ice to the shaker until it’s about halfway full. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well-chilled.
  4. Remove the ice from the chilled hurricane glass. Strain the mixture into the glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry (if using). Serve immediately.
