Ingredients:
- 8 oz fresh brewed espresso (cooled)
- 4 oz vodka
- 2 oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
- 1 oz simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Coffee beans (for garnish)
- Optional: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder
Instructions:
- Brew 8 oz of espresso and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Measure 4 oz vodka, 2 oz coffee liqueur, and 1 oz simple syrup using a jigger.
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes. Add the cooled espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until frothy.
- Using a fine mesh strainer (if desired), strain the mixture evenly into four chilled martini glasses.
- Add 3 coffee beans to each glass for garnish. If desired, sprinkle with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
