Ingredients:
- 4 center-cut salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 0.5 tsp coarse black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1.5 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Use paper towels to pat the salmon fillets completely dry. Season the fillets generously with 1 tsp of kosher salt and 0.5 tsp of coarse black pepper; let sit for 2 minutes.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, lemon juice, and smoked paprika until a thick, emulsified glaze forms.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of the fillets generously with the Dijon glaze, making sure to cover the edges.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F or the glaze has turned a deep mahogany color.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 3 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
