Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked white rice (day-old preferred) (300g)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced (30g)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30ml)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (5g)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mince the garlic and measure out the rice.
  2. In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, stirring frequently (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the cooked rice to the skillet.
  5. Stir to combine the rice and garlic evenly, breaking up any clumps. Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  6. Sauté until the rice is heated through and slightly crispy (about 5-7 minutes).
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with additional garlic if desired.
