Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, about 6 oz (170g) each
  • ½ tsp (3g) salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
  • 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them skin-side down on the baking sheet and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  4. Spoon the lemon garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring the sides are coated.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the edges are opaque and the center flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle immediately with fresh parsley, and let the fish rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
