Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, about 6 oz (170g) each
- ½ tsp (3g) salt
- ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (2g) lemon zest
- 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them skin-side down on the baking sheet and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Spoon the lemon garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring the sides are coated.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the edges are opaque and the center flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle immediately with fresh parsley, and let the fish rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
