Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, approx 6 oz each (170g)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets bone-dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and melted butter until smooth.
- Place the fillets on the tray and brush a generous layer of the glaze over the top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes. For a caramelized crust, turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and charred in spots.
- Remove from the oven and let the fish rest for 3 minutes before pouring remaining pan juices over the fillets.
