Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp (10g) instant coffee granules
  • 2 tbsp (25g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) boiling water
  • 2 cups (480ml) milk
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water. Stir briefly with a spoon to ensure the granules are saturated.
  2. Using an electric hand mixer on medium-high speed, whip the mixture until the color shifts from dark brown to pale, golden mahogany and forms stiff peaks that do not slump.
  3. Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour in the milk, leaving about two inches of space at the top.
  4. Carefully dollop the whipped coffee foam on top of the milk and use a spoon to swirl the foam slightly for a marbled effect.
